Eczema 湿疹

Eczema is an itchy inflammation of the skin associated with other features such as redness of affected areas, generally dry skin, lumps or blisters and signs of superficial infections such as weeping or crusty deposits.

It is often difficult or impossible to determine the cause of eczema in any one person. It may arise and subside without warning. It may occur from contact with materials a person is allergic to, food allergies, air pollutant sensitivities and stress. It may also result from a yeast/fungal infection.

The itchiness associated with eczema is particularly uncomfortable. Reducing contact between that area and clothing is advised. Use high quality natural cotton or silk if that area needs to be clothed. Keep affected areas cool, aired and dry. Avoid hot showers and use a natural, dermatologist-tested, honey-based moisturiser for affected parts.
